Sports participation of Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) students at a state college of Camarines sur, was determined the benefits gained and the challenges they encounter in sports participation. This study utilized quantitative methods using descriptive survey research design and convenience sampling to collect data through survey questionnaires. The study aims to systematically characterize sports participation, identify challenges, and propose appropriate programs. Findings reveal that most respondents are aged 18-20, the majority of respondents are female, and majority are second year students. Most of the students prefer team sports over individual/dual sports, with volleyball, badminton, and basketball being the most commonly played sports. The respondents prioritize their socioemotional well-being, demonstrating a holistic approach to health. Challenges to sports participation are categorized into personal difficulties, social constraints, and time management. The study further identifies a significant relationship between the health benefits in physical, mental, and socioemotional health with personal difficulties in sports participation. However, this study's findings show that challenges in social constraints and time management show no significant correlation with health benefits. This study proposed a supplementary material to address and solve these challenges to enhance students' understanding of various sports, develop their athletic skills, and foster meaningful relationships within the sports community. Through this supplementary material, BPED students are expected to gain a deeper appreciation of sports, overcome participation barriers, and maximize the physical, mental, and social benefits of engaging in sports activities.
