This tri-sectional study aimed to develop outcome-based education instructional material in the Care of the Mother at Risk or with Problems (Acute and Chronic) and determine the acceptability of its usage to easily present and discuss the course through a hybrid learning modality for educators and learners. More specifically this study wanted to assess the performance of nursing students in the Care of the Mother and Child at Risk or with Problems (Acute and Chronic) maternal concept as a basis for instructional material; to develop an outcome-based education instructional material for the Care of the Mother at Risk or with Problems (Acute and Chronic) based on assessment; to test the developed outcome-based education instructional material, to determine the acceptability of outcome-based education instructional material; and to propose an outcome-based education instructional material for institutional evaluation and review. The statistical tools used in the study was percentage technique and weighted mean to consolidate the results that were obtained based on the responses of the evaluators. This study was participated by 199 BSN students who have taken up Care of the Mother in a Child at Risk or with Problem (Acute or Chronic) 2nd Semester, S/Y 2023-2024, and 10 purposively selected instructors who have handled the said course both classroom lectures and Related Learning Experiences. Based on the findings, the level of acceptability of the developed outcome-based education instructional material perceived by the students and instructors is highly acceptable. As a recommendation, the developed outcome-based education instructional material may be used as a learning material in the Care of Mother at Risk or with Problems (Acute and Chronic) in the institution. Instructors should utilize this material to deliver the course uniformly and as a guiding framework for teaching. aOutcome-based education aInstructional materials aMonge, Abegail F.eadviser. aTaburnal, Maria Visitacion M.echair, panelist. aOida, Naneth O.epanelist. aAsis, Christelle Kay G.epanelist. 2ddcn0cUMhB862diMANkMTHm2024 00102ddc4070aCSPCbCSPCcGRDd2025-05-20l0oMTH MAN B862d 2024p006591UMr2025-05-20 09:42:49t1 - 1w2025-05-20yUM c29629d29629
