This study aimed to assess the fitness and recreational activities of employees at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. The research focused on gathering the demographic profile of the participants, identifying their engagement in various fitness and recreational activities, determining the benefits they derived from participating in fitness and recreational activities, pinpointing the challenges they faced during fitness and recreational pursuits, establishing any significant relationship between the participants' profile and the benefits gained, and proposing a program to improve overall employee health and well-being. The study employed a mixed method approach, utilizing both descriptive and survey methods to gather data from 74 academic personnel and 26 administrative staff members. Data collection occurred from September 2023 to April 2024, with statistical tools such as weighted mean, frequency, ranking, and percentage used for data analysis. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents were female, aged between 26-31 years old, unmarried, and predominantly from the academic field. The respondents believed that emotional and physical health were the most beneficial aspects of engaging in recreational activities. The main challenges encountered by participants were work commitments, insufficient time, and family obligations. To address these issues, the researchers proposed the implementation of an employee wellness program called "Fit for Success," which aims to enhance employee well-being through tailored activities, resources, and support services. This study not only fulfills the researchers' academic requirements but also serves to meet the health and well-being needs of employees within the institution.
