The study aimed to examine the values associated with engaging in physical and recreational activities among senior high school students, focusing on social. emotional, and moral aspects, along with challenges encountered in participating physical and recreational activities and a recommendation to have a training program session and seminar. Utilizing a quantitative method, data were collected from sixty-eight (68) senior high school students, one (1) MAPEH teacher, one (1) guidance counselor, and one (1) student athlete at San Agustin Integrated School. Statistical tools included frequency count, percentage, and ranking methods. Findings revealed that badminton and modern/contemporary dance were favored physical activities, while sepak takraw and Latin dance were least favored. Mobile games ranked highest in recreational activities, with archery ranking lowest. Social values such as teamwork were highly valued, whereas inclusivity was least valued. Emotional enjoyment was prioritized over self-esteem, and respect was highly valued morally, while equity was least valued. Challenges included skill level being the most significant, and physiological factors being the least. To address these findings, the researchers recommended implementing a training program and seminar to enhance values integration in physical and recreational activities among senior high school students, aiming to tackle the identified challenges. This targeted action plan seeks to create a more enriching experience for students engaging in these activities, fostering positive values, and addressing potential obstacles they may face.
