N2  - The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of the Sangguniang Kabataan in the local community and youth development. The researcher wanted to know how the Sangguniang Kabataan of Buhi Camarines Sur performed in leading the youth, maintaining peace and order as well as their contributions in maintaining the stability of the environment and advocating educational campaign and developing the skills and abilities of the youth through various projects and activities. This study made use of descriptive research design. The respondents of this study are representative samples of Sangguniang Kabataan from thirty-eight barangays of Buhi Camarines Sur. 
Based from the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) The profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, educational attainment and barangay varied. (2) The Sangguniang Kabataan of the barangay performed very well in terms of Environmental Activity, Peace and Order, and Leading the Youth. (3) Projects and activities were proposed to develop to enhance more on the findings of the study.
Based from the findings and conclusions of the study, the researchers recommend that: (1) The profile of the respondents in terms of age and educational attainment affect the nature of their performance. They should be aware enough of their roles and responsibilities since most of the respondents were in the ages 19 up to 26. (2) Sangguniang Kabataan may strengthen their local community and youth development by proving activities and programs in terms of environmental activity, skills development of the youth, sports and health and wellness, peace and order, educational development project, and leading the youth to create an impact to both the community and the youth. (3) Other researchers may continue to studying the impact of Sangguniang Kabataan on the local community and youth development to discover more techniques, activities and programs to successfully create an impact to the community.
