  <abstract>Career guidance plays an important role in helping product markets work and education systems meet their goals. Because the choice of a career is undeniably one of the most crucial decisions one makes in life. So that the major aim of guidance counseling services is to encourage students' academic, social, emotional and personal development. To reach this aim guidance and counseling services help students get to know themselves better and find effective solutions to their daily problems. Descriptive method was used in this study. Questionnaire was used in gathering data and by determining the profile of the students, weighted mean and rank determined the level of awareness, practices, factors and the recommendations for the effectiveness of guidance and counseling practices of students' career development. 
The result shows that, students display higher levels of engagement and motivation when they have a clear understanding of what they want to do. Career education hones their focus so that they can make informed choices about their careers. Teachers and counselors provide the essential guidance that creates a bridge between education and career. Improving outcomes and achievements are central to the overall goal of career education. The structure instill students with the knowledge and skills they need to obtain a meaningful career. Career education makes rewarding work possible, regardless of the student's interests, aptitudes or abilities.   </abstract>
