TI - Semi-automated coconut milk extractor machine N1 - Undergraduate Thesis (BSME) - Mechanical Engineering; Includes bibliographical references N2 - The study employed a Descriptive and Developmental methodology to address the design, fabrication, and automation aspects of the semi-automated Coconut Milk Extractor. This approach involved systematically describing and developing the machine while assessing its performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in comparison to manual extraction methods. By utilizing locally available materials and considering specific component specifications, the study aimed to optimize the machine's functionality and minimize production costs, which took only ₱28,047.74. The study evaluated it is overall performance in terms of its yield efficiency and cost. In order to have and achieve a more functional and effective device, the following recommendation is considered. Make the power source safer and more reliable, such as adding an exhaust fan on the power box where the batteries and power supply are placed to reduce the heat produced by the power supply. Improve the user interface by adding functions that enable its user to decide on the freedom to choose what food product the user desires to process. Make the machine fully automated, such as adding a function or feature that better integrates coconut meat along with the coconut milk extractor. Consider adding a vendo machine feature to make the machine more profitable. Consider trying other food products such as papaya, ginger, cassava, etc ER -
