This study aims to determine the workplace expectations and challenges of the millennial employees at a State College in Buhi, Camarines Sur. Specific problems are to know the profile of the millennial employees. The expectations and challenges encountered related to knowledge and skills, workload compensation and benefits, workplace and work environment and security of tenure. Proposed suggestions and recommendations to improve the workplace expectation and address the challenges of the millennial employees are the output of the study. The researchers used the descriptive-qualitative method with the use of questionnaire among 16 employees. Findings were: most of the respondents are female; ages 27-30 years old, single, and bachelor's degree, regular employee and instructor. For the expectations of the millennial employees in knowledge and skills, workload compensation and benefits, workplace and work environment, and security and tenure, they are all interpreted as strongly agreeing. For the challenges of the millennial employees in knowledge and skills, workload compensation and benefits, workplace and work environment, and security and tenure, they are all interpreted as disagreeing. Their suggestions and recommendations are: Employers should invest in employee surveys to understand millennial needs and preferences. Addressing expectations involves flexible working arrangements, training, and clear career paths. Challenges include communication, collaboration, mentorship, technology training, and resources for professional and personal development. These recommendations can be considered by school administrators, HR practitioners, and other professionals. Inclusive leadership, communication upgrades, wellness initiatives, professional development, clear performance evaluation criteria, fair compensation policies, and a positive organizational culture are essential for attracting and retaining top talent.
