111 leaves. This research focused on discovering and analysing the Bikol-Iriga dialect particularly Discourse Markers along with its types and functions. The main objective is to identify and uncover Bikol-Iriga dialect's different types and functions of discourse markers supported with Fung & Carter's Macro level of Discourse Particles. The researchers utilized a qualitative research design through the responses of the native Irigueños. Transcribed responses were used and analyzed using descriptive content analysis. Furthermore, the researchers used AntConc as an appropriate tool in obtaining the frequency and the percentage of the gathered DMs. Glossing of example sentences were applied in this study. Upon the interview, it was determined that there are DMs present in the dialect under the four (4) types of discourse markers structural, referential, cognitive, and interpersonal. Structural discourse markers consist of su, puon, ya, ay, and kadto/kadtong particles. Referential discourse marker consists of kuwa/kuwan, dawa, kin, kinding, ta, and saka. While in the cognitive discourse markers; gayud, bagana/bana, baga, biyo, man/uman, baya, nganako, and ngani. Lastly, the interpersonal discourse markers consists hay naku, inayko, and ngaya. The researchers made a grammar guide in Bikol-Iriga titled "Grammar Guide: Bikol-Iriga", presenting the grammatical categories and uniqueness of the dialect. The researchers recommend that liguists from Bikol-Iriga continue to unfold the uniqueness of the dialect and proposed that language documentation should continue as it is an essential tool for communication.
