This sought answers to the following objective. To identify the personal profile of employee in Buhi Campus; 2. To determine the Occurrence of Gender Discrimination in an Academic Institution along recruitment, section, and placement of employees, promotion, workload and job assignments, interpersonal work relations; 3. To know the effect of gender discrimination on employee performance in terms of: recruitment, selection, and placement of employees, promotion, workload and job assignments, interpersonal work relations and 4. To determine the recommendations can be proposed to lessen gender discrimination that will help improve employees' performance. The methodology was used is Descriptive Research Method. The conclusions of the study were identified as : 1. The study reveals taht 75% of respondents were female, with 55% having a bachelor's degree and 15% having a master's degree. The majority of respondents were employed, with 50% being regular and 50% being contract-based. The majority of respondents were single, with 75% being single and 25% being married. These findings suggest that office work is more attractive to females. 2. The study also highlights the diverse employment statuses among respondents. The perceived gender discrimination of the respondents in terms of; recruitment section, and placement of employees, promotion, workload and job assignments, interpersonal work relations, indicates a moderate level of perceived gender discriminations. 3. suggests that organizations must address gender-related biases to maintain employee well-being, job satisfaction, and performance. Implement a gender sensitivity, promote diversity and inclusion, establish clear policy, encourage, open communication, celebrate diversity and achievements help improve employee's performance. ER -
