<br/><br/> The study aimed to determine the entrepreneurial characteristics of small enterprises in Buhi, Camarines Sur which answered: Personal profile (Age, Sex, Civil Status, Educational Attainment); Business profile (Type of Business, Year of Operation, Capital of Business); Entrepreneurial characteristics of small enterprises (Opportunity Recognition, Risk-taking, Resourcefulness, Pro-active and Adaptability, Customer Orientation); Challenges encountered along their entrepreneurial characteristics (Opportunity Recognition, Risk-taking, Resourcefulness, Pro-active and Adaptability, Customer Orientation); and recommendations to enhance the entrepreneurial characteristics of small enterprises in Buhi, Camarines Sur. The respondents were 25 entrepreneurs of small enterprises in Buhi, Camarines Sur. The descriptive method was used to attain the objectives. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire and data analysis. The result of the study were analyzed and treated statistically. <br/>Based on the data gathered, in terms of the of the personal profile most of the respondents were 31 years old above, female, single and college graduate. In terms of their business profile, majority of the business are milk tea shops operating for 1-5 years and have a total of capital below 500,000. Entrepreneurial characteristics of small enterprises, majority of the respondents emphasized the role and the importance of customer orientation it is the highest among the five indicators. Challenges encountered along their entrepreneurial characteristics, majority of the respondents encountered challenges in opportunity recognition, entrepreneurs often struggle with uncertainties when identifying and seizing opportunities. The researchers' recommendation to enhance the entrepreneurial characteristics of small enterprises is to seek out mentorship from successful entrepreneurs or business leaders who can provide a range of benefits, including experiential learning, guidance, networking, motivation, and personal development. In behalf of that they can provide a unique knowledge that can be applied to develop the entrepreneurial characteristics of every entrepreneur.
