Waste has always been an issue plaguing, society with landfills spanning fields upon fields taking up precious and polluting the environment. The objective of this study is to design and develop a machine that is able to reduce waste specifically glass and metal wastes that is commonly found in households like broken bottles, and empty cans by reducing their size by crushing glass into smaller pieces for easy processing in recycling plants, while for metal cans the principle is the same but instead of crushing glass simply compacting it essentially reducing the space it takes up and make it easier for processing. This aims, to help the ordinary users to recycle these ordinary household waste ready and made it for processing in recycling plants.
