<subfield code="a">The researchers plan to have an easy way on how the farmer's/backyard farmers make their watering system easy and fast. So this study aims to test a prototype of a watering system by observing the moisture content and pH level of soil and thereby develop a prototype that is a cost-effective watering system that provides required water in the garden. These are the following objectives, 1.) To develop an automated vegetable garden watering system. 2.) to determine the performance of the system moisture content and pH level. 3.) Simple cost analysis of the system. A descriptive and developmental research design was used to conduct this study.
The methodical procedure was used in this research, by planning, designing, fabrication, pretesting, modification, testing, and evaluation are the research processes used to create and have the output of the system. And by those summaries the following conclusions were get up, the proposed device can be accessed through the internet with the given IP address we can be able to open it in browser and we can be able to see the monitored or collected data that comes from the sensors that are put in the specific soil. By this webpage that is created, we can also calibrate and change the threshold if it is far from the given amount of soil moisture level and pH level. Also from the prototype device. it has a LED display where we can able to see those data even if we are not using the given webpage. With the help of those sensors we can also control the amount of water and it will be going to easy for the farmers if they will have this, they don't need to put the water manually because through this device and system. This will serve as the one who will be going to water the soil and plants automatically if they need it or not. This prototype and its components are packed down to a farmer's friendly type of watering system. </subfield>
