Schools commonly use PET bottles as beverage containers, which is why this project aims to study and analyze the issues related to their use on school campuses. The researchers addressed this problem by creating a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) using Arduino technology. They explored the challenges of adopting eco-friendly products like RVMs in schools and recommended using alternative materials and strategies, such as a reward system. The RVM system involves a standard recycling bin equipped with a microcontroller and sensors. Users can insert PET bottles into the bin and receive corresponding points automatically. Once the process is complete, users can claim their reward by pushing a button. 1 aSajuela, Bryan B.,eauthor1 aSamar, Yujana Paula D.,eauthor1 aRodriquez, Kristine Joy L.,eauthor1 aNarra, John Henry C.,eauthor1 aBarbonio, Eugene P.,etechnical adviser1 aTerano, Harold Jan R.,echair, panelist1 aAbanil, Roner P.,epanelist1 aOares, Christopher T.,epanelist
