This study arrived to determine the impact of Information and Communication Technology in the Academic Performance of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration Students during Pandemic. The effect of these impacts encountered by the students and the measures to cope on it.
The conclusions of this study were identified that: 1) most of the respondents were 18-21 years old; majority of them were female which is 36 or 90%; 10 respondents came from each year levels of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration summing up to the total of 40 respondents with the highest general weighted average of 1.99-1.75 and 1.24-1.0 and 2.24-2.0 as the lowest average. 2) in terms of ICT tools and devices used for flexible learning, all the respondents uses cellphone as their ICT tool with a percentage of 100%. 3) Majority of the respondents uses Google Meet as their application for flexible learning during pandemic with a percentage of 97.5%. 4) the respondents agree that there are impacts on the use of ICT on the academic performance with average weighted mean of 3.051. The highest degree of impact for the respondents were ICT as the most dependable tool for flexible learning and the use of ICT dependable tool for flexible learning and the use of ICT as instructional media bridge the gap between the teachers and students with weighted means of 3.40 and 3.30 respectively. 5) the respondents seldom encountered the challenges when using ICT with an average weighted mean of 3.16. For the challenges encountered by the respondents, the highest degree encountered were poor quality of service of the internet and signal problem in internet with weighted means of 1.5 respectively. 6) the recommendations proposed by the respondents were to provide gadgets and stable internet connection and study hard and improve oneself both with 23 percent.
