"Independent research reveals a hitherto unnamed Philippine tropical house tradition that the researchers have named the Balay Ukit. Philippine colonialist history does not track this tradition that has led to its occlusion. With new eyes, witness this rich tradition revealed in our communities. Be inspired and perhaps use this culture and technology in your new home."--from back of container.
