Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSN) - Nursing. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2025. Abstract: This research assessed the perception of artificial intelligence integration into nursing education among student nurses at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC). focusing on the factors that might affect their own perception of artificial intelligence integration. Conducted from January 2024 to April 2025 using a quantitative, descriptive- correlational method, the study involved first-year to fourth-year BSN students who completed a validated questionnaire assessing their perception of artificial intelligence integration in nursing education and the factors affecting their perception, including accessibility, affordability, quality, and ethicality. The majority of respondents were female, ages 21-23, from the third-year level with a family monthly income of less than 12,030, mostly aware of various AI tools, especially ChatGPT, which is utilized weekly for study support. Findings revealed that student nurses at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges generally exhibit moderate positivity toward the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in their education, with increasing reliance on AI tools due to frequent usage and good exposure. Their perceptions are influenced by factors such as accessibility, affordability, quality, and ethical concerns. Younger students tend to use AI more frequently, especially for academic tasks. To maximize AI’s benefits in nursing education, structured programs are essential for developing critical thinking and ethical awareness. A proposed platform aims to provide holistic support and promote responsible use of AI, ultimately preparing student nurses for future professional challenges. This study offered a comprehensive understanding of perception of artificial intelligence integration into nursing education among student nurses at CSPC, providing valuable insight for educational institutions to improve integration of artificial intelligence into nursing education for the future nursing professions.
