The study titled "Challenges Encountered by Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) Students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC)" focused on the problems that BSOA students have in identifying personal and academic challenges. This study intended to analyze respondents' profiles based on age, sex, civil status, and year level, as well as assess their competences and challenges in communication skills, records management, computer operation, shorthand skills, and human relations. Data were collected from 120 second- and third-year students enrolled in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year using questionnaires and statistical methods such as ranking, frequency distribution, percentage technique, weighted mean, and Likert scale. The data showed that most respondents are female, single, and between the ages of 18 and 20. Students demonstrate moderate competency in communication, records management, computer operations, shorthand, and human relations, but they also face moderate problems in these areas, such as grammar concerns, balancing digital and physical records, and learning shorthand skills. These issues indicated a mismatch between students' existing skills and industry expectations. The study emphasized the importance of specific strategies for improving students' competencies and addressing their issues. An action plan is presented, which includes communication workshops, records management simulations, technical shorthand training, and interpersonal skill-building activities. These ideas aim to foster a more supportive learning environment, preparing BSOA students for academic success and professional employment. The findings are a significant resource for students, professors, and institutional leaders as they refine the BSOA program and improve educational outcomes. This study was undertaken in partial fulfillment of the criteria for the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration degree, and it demonstrates the researchers’ collaborative efforts to contribute to CSPC’s academic advancement.
