Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSIT) - Information Technology. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024. Abstract: This study addresses the challenges faced in the ERP Laboratory of the College of Com- puter Studies, including an unsecured access control system, inefficient attendance mon- itoring, inflexible scheduling, and inefficient laboratory security monitoring. To enhance laboratory management, a web-based management system was developed utilizing Lean Agile methodology alongside a mixed-method research approach that combined both quan- titative and qualitative data. Total enumeration sampling was employed to select respon- dents for the study. The evaluation of the system’s functionality and performance involved black box testing, with unit testing conducted in collaboration with end users, including students, faculty, laboratory personnel, and administrative staff. IT experts performed in- tegration, load, and stress testing to assess the system’s capabilities. The arithmetic mean was employed to assess the gathered data. Load testing demonstrated strong performance, with an error rate of 0.00% across various workload conditions. Unit, stress, and integra- tion testing each achieved a perfect score of 1.00, confirming the system’s compliance with requirements, efficiency under high loads, and seamless component integration. The results indicate that the newly developed web-based management system is ready to significantly improve convenience and overall management in the CCS ERP Laboratory.
