This research aimed to assess the Information Communication Technology proficiency of three hundred twelve (312) BS in Office Administration (BSOA) students at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, encompassing both the Main Campus and Buhi Campus. In conducting the study, the researchers made use of descriptive method, and utilized different statistical tools such as percentage and weighted mean to interpret the data gathered. In the hardware and software available in the BSOA program, results indicated the prevalence of steno machines, both digital and analogue, as the most common ICT equipment available. In contrast, when it came to equipment like printer, photocopier, and scanner, it is indicated that they were unsure about the availability of these equipment. Despite this, the respondents demonstrated proficiency in hardware operation and software processing. This implies that they possess a well-rounded and comprehensive skill set in ICT. Furthermore, the study revealed no significant relationships between age and sex concerning ICT proficiency but identified a notable correlation between civil status and respondents' ICT proficiency. The main challenges encountered were hardware malfunctions, including computer and hard drive failures, while software compatibility issues significantly hindered effective ICT usage. Consequently, the study aims to propose interventions to enhance the ICT proficiency among BSOA students at CSPC.
