Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSOA) - Office Administration. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2023. Abstract: This study generally determine the Challenges encountered in stenography writing of BSOA students in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. This study focused on the profile of BSOA students in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges along stenography. The study indicates the dictation and transcription and the significant relationship between the of profile and the challenges encountered in stenography writing by the BSOA students of CSPC. This study is composed of two hundred one students in second Year and third Year students of Bachelor of science in office administration along in dictation and transcription using the data were gathered through questionnaire checklist which was distributed to the respondents through google forms. The researchers used the qualitative descriptive method and different statistical tools Chi-square and P-value in order to collect the respondents form 2nd year and 3rd year of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration in CSPC. The study is most of the respondents belong to the age ranges form 20-21 years old; and majority of the respondents are female and majority is in the 2nd year level. Majority of the respondents in family income are 5,000-9,999 in BSOA students. The respondents along dictation is 2.63 average weighted mean with verbal interpretation of often encountered along poor pronunciation of words and the level of along transcription is 2.57 average weighted mean with verbal interpretation Often encountered along Misinterpretation accent pronunciation. there is no significant relationship between the of profile and the challenges encountered in stenography writing by the BSOA students of CSPC. This study proposed an intervention plan to minimize the challenges encountered by BSOA students along stenography.
