isaster education and training programs are essential components of hospital preparedness, equipping healthcare personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively manage emergencies. This quantitative study on disaster preparedness in the Department of Health accredited level I hospitals of Camarines Norte utilized the descriptive correlational design using a questionnaire distributed to 101 hospital personnel and administrators. Data were analyzed using weighted mean, Kruskal Wallis H Test, and t-test. Results revealed that the Department of Health-accredited Level I hospitals in Camarines Norte demonstrate disaster preparedness, as perceived by administrators and personnel, across three key aspects. In terms of human resources, these hospitals have dedicated disaster management teams, and regular disaster drills are conducted to ensure staff readiness. For facilities and equipment, emergency exits and evacuation routes are clearly marked and easily accessible. Regarding policies and programs, the hospitals actively participate in local government disaster preparedness initiatives and maintain protocols for rapid coordination with other healthcare facilities during emergencies. Despite these strengths, disaster preparedness in these hospitals is influenced by several factors, including healthcare workers' concerns about personal safety, insufficient maintenance of disaster-related equipment, and limited funding allocation for disaster management programs. A policy recommendation is proposed to enhance the disaster preparedness training programs in the Department of Health-accredited Level I hospitals of Camarines Norte, focusing on improving resources, infrastructure, and funding to ensure comprehensive disaster readiness.
