The study aimed to determine the competencies and challenges among student aides in Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. It sought to determine the personal, economic, and employment profiles of CSPC student aides and their corresponding competencies and challenges in areas such as communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional image; identify the relationship between competencies and challenges; and proposed a training program to enhance student aides' competencies. The researchers made use of descriptive type as the main gathering of data tool in the study using percentage technique, weighted mean, standard deviation, likert scale, chi-square test, and rank ordering method formula to compute the profile of the respondents, competencies and challenges of student aides, significant relationship between the competencies possessed by the respondents and the challenges they faced and the proposed training program. The findings show that student aides at CSPC are highly competent in communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and professionalism, with few challenges encountered. However, the competencies of communication, leadership, and teamwork are not rejected, while problem-solving and professional image are rejected, suggesting a significant relationship between these competencies and the challenges that the student aides faced. Based on the conclusions, this study suggests enhancing student aides' effectiveness at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges through structured training programs, covering team-building activities, and orientation programs, aiming to create a supportive environment for college students and their success.
