Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis (BSIS) - Information System. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024. Abstract: In the digital age, educational institutions increasingly lean towards technological approaches to streamline operations like student enrollment, improving efficiency and accessibility for both students and administrators. Generally, this study aimed to design an Enrolment System for La Purisima National High School. Specifically, this study aimed to determine the challenges encountered of existing enrollment process, design an Enrollment System, evaluate User Interface using ISO 9241, and evaluate the proposed database design using ISO/IEC 25012 Data Quality metrics. The research employed a mixed-method approach, gathering data through surveys and interviews with admin and students including User Interface experts and Database experts. The performance of the designed system and database was assessed using a weighted mean to determine its acceptability in addressing the user needs. Findings from the evaluation revealed that the designed system was highly acceptable in all performance indicators, with the highest ratings in Satisfaction and the designed database was acceptable in all criteria, with the highest ratings in Completeness. The overall average weighted mean for designed system was 3.46 and for Database design was 3.24, indicating the design is outstanding and exceeds expectations, it meted all requirements and standards. The researchers found that the most challenges encountered using a manual enrollment is the limited operation hours. To address this, the study designs an online enrollment system to be more efficient from the user. Therefore, future researchers/ developers can use the designed prototype to develop a system.
