An inadequate way of controlling the lighting system on public covered courts rented by facility users may result in an environmental problem such as high waste energy consumption and inappropriate practices for energy conservation. This study aims to design and develop a vendo machine that controls the lighting system in a covered court. Descriptive-developmental research was used in the study focusing on the machine's efficiency in terms of the functional completeness of the program, the functional correctness of the device, and the overall operability of the machine. The fabricated machine was tested and ensured that all functions operated as intended. This includes precise control over lighting options, accurate time settings, and reliable responses to user commands. Findings show that the overall performance of the device was satisfactory good in terms of the acceptance rate for the Philippine currency coin/bill, the accuracy of time per unit value of money, and the functionality of all components used in the fabrication of the machine.
