Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSEE) - Electrical Engineering. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2023. Abstract: Recognizing the finite nature of Earth's resources and the increasing demand for energy, particularly in the Bicol region, this study focuses on the assessment of the hydroelectric energy source potential at Banayan Falls, Apud, Libon, Albay. The evaluation encompasses considerations of economic viability, environmental impact, and societal benefits, aligning with the broader goals of sustainable energy development. Through systematic assessment, the study aims to answer specific questions such as determining the potential flow rate capacity. The findings of this research contribute to the exploration of alternative and environmentally friendly energy sources, supporting the initiatives of the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in promoting renewable energy.
