Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024.
The graduates are known as the strongest evidence of the success of a program in terms of employment and position held. They are strong sources of input about the importance of the program in the current labor market. This paper utilizes tracer study to evaluate the effectiveness of the BSAO program throuh following up on the employment performance of the BSOA graduates at Cmarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges- Buhi Campus from 2018-2022. The study examines the employment performance of one hundred fourty-three (143) BSOA graduates, to assess factors contributing to their employability, difficulties encountered during job searching, and propose curriculum enhancement for BSOA to equip student's employment readiness. Descriptive Method was used to attain the study's objective The researchers utilized descriptive questionnaire as an instrument to for data collection and was interpreted using weighted mean. The findings revealed that female graduates outnumbered the male, mostly fall within 26-28 age, and single, As to employment record, graduates were locally employed in a private organization in crirical position earning below Php50,000 annually holding permanent/regular job . The study highlights the positive influence of personal attributes, skills-development, school-related support , and sicio-economic opportunities on graduates often encountered difficultiues during job seeking. Based on the findings, It was recommended that institution should consider integrating a more focused curriculum on practical applications and career preperation for BSOA students to help them bridge the gap between theory and practice BSOA curriculum should be systematically reviewed to ensure graduates attributes and employability skills. Moreover, the researchers also recommend a curriculum enhancement for BSOA to equip student's employment readiness.
