Traditional key-based security systems are prone to vulnerabilities such as tampering, duplication, and theft. This study developed a dual-layered security system integrating biometric fingerprint authentication and a passcode mechanism, utilizing an Arduino microcontroller, fingerprint sensor, membrane keypad, and solenoid door lock, with a web-based interface hosted on Vercel to facilitate remote user management, log monitoring, and reporting. System evaluation demonstrated a fingerprint recognition accuracy of 0.98, an average response time of 1.2 seconds for authentication, and a 0.99 success rate in passcode verification, with system logs recording 100% of access attempts and real-time updates to the web interface. Assessed using ISO/IEC 25010, the system achieved 0.91 in usability, 0.94 in security, and 0.89 in efficiency, affirming its reliability and robustness. This innovative security solution enhances the CCS server room's infrastructure, offering scalability, efficiency, and robust access control while demonstrating the effectiveness of combining biometrics and passcodes for high-security environments.
