Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSOA) - Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2024 Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of Time Management Strategies among BSOA Students at CSPC. This study hypothesizes that specific time management strategies, such as List down what needs to be done for the day, setting goals and organizing task, are important in improving academic performance and wellbeing. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study, in which 259 students of BSOA from 2nd to 4th year levels who are officially enrolled students of CSPC were surveyed using a questionnaire. Data was gathered through questionnaire checklist which was distributed to the desired respondents through google form. Findings: Personal Profile; the majority are 18-20 years old; majority are female, majority of the respondents are 2nd year students. Data analysis was done in the form of frequency counts, percentages, and a 4-point Likert scale. The most effective strategies in time management among BSOA students include making a task list that needs to be done, specifying deadlines for each task, make clear goals plan and prioritizing tasks in the light of urgency and importance. Factors such as stress, huge workloads, procrastination, distractions, health concerns and lack of self-discipline were identified as significant to effective time management. The researchers recommended an action plan on enhancing the effectiveness of time management strategy among BSOA students through workshops, educational materials, and a progress monitoring system that would help in providing knowledge, skill, and support to students on how to manage time effectively.
