Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSECE) - Electronics Engineering. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2025. Abstract: Speed-related incidents on college campuses are increasing concerns that affect safety and order. This study presents the development of SAVES: Speed Alert and Violation Enforcement System, designed to monitor and enforce speed limits within Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC). The system utilizes RFID sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless data transfer to track vehicle speed, detect violations, and issue alerts. The design incorporates IoT for real-time data access and integrates with a web-based dashboard for monitoring. Tests results indicate that the device can accurately detect vehicle speed, alert over-speeding vehicles, and maintain reliable communication between system components. SAVES contributes to sustainable development goals (SDGs) by fostering safer and smarter educational spaces. Its implementation at CSPC would possibly and significantly enhance road safety and traffic control, effectively measure vehicle speeds and enforce traffic laws through real-time alerts and automatic violation tracking, ultimately leading to a safer environment for the entire campus community.
