Social media has been incorporated into everyone's day-to-day activities, and it has evolved how people communicate and utilize language. In this study, researchers analyzed the code-switching employed in the vlogs of Bicolano content creators. The study sought to answer two research questions: (1) What types of code-switching are used in the vlogs of Bicolano content creators? (2) What are the similarities and differences in code-switching across content creators? The researchers used a qualitative research design, specifically content analysis, and analyzed the top three most viewed vlog series from two digital platforms, Facebook and TikTok. Moreover, through Poplack's (1980) code-switching typology: tag switching, inter-sentential, and intra-sentential, the findings revealed that the most prevalent type of code-switching employed by Bicolano vloggers is intra-sentential. Tag-switching is the second most used type, followed by inter-sentential code-switching.
