The university library seeks to improve their users' knowledge, satisfaction, and competences, as well as the efficiency of their collections. The objective of this descriptive-correlational study was to determine the level of awareness and utilization, the challenges that users encountered when using the OPAC, and to propose an output to improve the efficiency of Online Public Access Catalog. The researchers created a survey questionnaire, and by using Slovin's formula, 341 respondents were chosen at random sampling method. The study used the Information-seeking Behavior Theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which connected on how technology or Online Public Access Catalog respond to the user needs in finding information. The results showed that the library user's level of awareness and level of utilization towards OPAC was both moderately aware. It was determined that the challenges that the user's encountered in using OPAC were lack of orientation/ instruction from library staff. It was revealed that the relationship between the frequency of utilization and the challenges encountered in using OPAC were significant. In accordance with the study's findings, even if library patrons were aware of and able to utilize the online public access catalog, there is still a need to discuss how the library can improve its resources, especially those that acquired the lowest rankings. As a result, this study developed an action plan and promotional video to the library to improve the efficiency of their resources. It would also be beneficial for future researcher to do additional research on the Online Public Access Catalog.
