Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2023. Abstract: This study aims to determine and understand the Parental Involvement on the Academic Performance of students in a State College in Camarines Sur of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration CSPC Buhi Campus. Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions. 1) To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of a) Age b) Sex c) Educational Attainment d) Monthly Income e) Occupation f) Current Family Set-Up 2) Factors affecting parental involvement to the academic performance of students along family's; a) Economic Condition b) Academic Socialization 3) The level of parental involvement in terms of; a) Parenting Practices at home b) Parental involvement in school 4) Academic performance of the students for the last two semesters 5) Recommendations may be proposed to enhance parental involvement in student's academic performance. The methodology used was Descriptive Research Method. The conclusion was drawn from the study 1) thirty (30) respondents of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration in CSPC Buhi Campus personal profile were majority of the parents age belong to 41-45 years old above, and also majority of them were female. Their educational attainment were majority of high school graduate, in economic profile the monthly family income of them were below 5,000 pesos and most of the occupation of parents were housewife/househusband, and majority of their current family set-up were both living together with their child and 2) Factors Affecting the Parental Involvement of the respondents obtaining a weighted mean of 2.34 for the economic condition and 2.26 for the academic socialization, which the parents are in balance to care the academic performance of the students. 3) The Level of Parental Involvement to the academic performance of students are generally observed, which the parents are often involved of their child academic performance at home school. 4) The Students Academic Performance were having of 1.9-1.50 or 70 percent are in a satisfactory level in which this is not bad on getting higher grades in college. 5) The proposed suggestions or recommendations are provided towards effective parental involvement and academic performance of students were conducting a seminar or workshops and watching a relatable video for understanding this crucial matter.
