The tourism hospitality industry has continuously grown and become crucial in recent years. However, as COVID 19 was detected in December 2019, the industry faced a significant threat. Within three months, the virus spread globally, and nothing remained as it used to be; public life seemed frozen. All around the world, tourism came to a complete standstill. The thesis aims to determine the accommodation establishment of Polangui, Albay. Recover strategies in the short and long term to overcome the crisis are uncovered. Lastly, what has been learned from the situation which might be beneficial for the future, is presented. The research solution is mainly intended to support the local government unit and the accommodation establishment and manage the business during a crisis. The result of this research is derived from primary and secondary sources of information. For primary research, a qualitative approach was selected and interviews. Literature was used for secondary analysis to overview the topic and acquire some background information.
