Farm-to-market roads, a kind of road in which it connects agricultural and fisheries to the market, for the producers to allow their goods to be trade and consume to gain a better prices and broader reach for their products. In that way it will also help to increase the economy of the rural communities. The road originated for economic reasons, it is to move loads and other goods from one point to another. It was established over the land upon the passage of vehicles and people. Roads are structures that serve the community full time, they can resist high magnitude of loads from passing vehicles with varying loads capacity. Also, road pavement can resist the maximum load capacity of traffic. The general objective of this study is to design a farm to market paved road in Layuan St. La Medalla Iriga City and to answer the following specific objectives; 1.To determine the present conditions of the project site in terms of: Topography, Width, and Profile; 2. To design a road in terms of: Pavement and Drainage and 3. To determine the cost estimate of the proposed paved road. This paper is primarily focused in designing a farm-to-market road along Layuan St., La Medalla, Iriga City, Camarines Sur having a length of 2.6 km and 5 meters width. The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) was also used to obtain information about soil compaction and swelling, as well as to determine if the soil can be paved or not. The researchers used the stationing method to determine the road's elevation, they also proposed about the design of drainage system. The researchers also computed the cost and estimate of the proposed project, which resulted having an amount of Php 6,666,098.00 million. This study comes to the conclusion that when a road is paved, it makes it easier to move items from the farm to the market and increases local mobilization.
