Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSME) - Mechanical Engineering. Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2022. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to find out if it is feasible to construct a Water Treatment Facility in Lubgan, Bula, Camarines Sur that can be used by the residents in their everyday use. This study uses a descriptive method of research. The researchers conducted a survey to understand if it is possible to construct this facility in the near future. According to the data gathered, the residents are in favor of the idea. The researchers proceeded to test the water from the water source, Nalalata Falls, wherein the result of the test will determine the design of the facility. The Facility is comprised of the following: Disc Filter, Raw Tank and Product Tanks, Raw Water Pump, RO Digital Control Panel, Sand Filter, Activated Carbon Filter, Antiscalant Doser Pump, Brine Tank, High-Pressure Pump, Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filter, Water Switch/ Gate Valve, Pipes, Elbows, Ts, and fittings, Pressure Gage, Supply Water Pump, Micro Filter, Chlorine Feeder. The facility will be able to resolve the hardness problem regarding the water collected from the water source. The facility also has a distribution system laid out for the use of the houses nearby the facility.
