The primary focus of this study is on the potential health hazards of poultry farming practices for workers, including the possibility of hydrogen sulfide exposure. This gas was distinct because of its putrefying aroma and transparent, colorless appearance. The substance can be recognized even at low concentrations. However, it becomes problematic at 150 mg/kg (air) concentrations because the olfactory nerves in the nasal cavity temporarily become less functional. Poultry, immunity, health, and productivity risks will limit the industry's future growth. The project aims to create a data acquisition system for monitoring and recording hazardous gas emissions from chicken manure pits inside the poultry facility. It used a descriptive research methodology and drew support from earlier research. The data is collected from the MQ-137 ammonia sensor, the MQ-136 hydrogen sulfide sensor, and the DHT-22 and DHT-11 humidity and temperature sensors. The study aimed to create a prototype device that could detect and record the release of harmful gases like hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Results of the study include the creation of a data logger for dangerous gases coming from a chicken manure pit, evaluating its effectiveness in use, and analyzing the costs involved. Furthermore, the device's ability to adapt to human needs and cost-effectiveness were determined.
