Dissertation note: Undergraduate Theses (BSIT) - Information Technology Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2023. Abstract: Nowadays, convenience is more important to people. We are always looking for quick and easy ways to do things, and new inventions are constantly being developed to speed up and simplify our work. Thanks to advancements in machines, using the internet and technology makes it easier and more convenient to save time and effort each time we buy food. The shop is now available online as well as in the physical location. This study aimed to create a general web-based system that would handle client order placement, payment, and inventory information recording. This study specifically identifies the current procedure for updating product details, placing orders, keeping track of records, and producing reports at street taqueria and cafe; it also evaluates the system's performance using black box testing. Extreme programming was used by the researchers as a guide to developing the system. A survey and interviews with the cafe's owner, cashier, and customers were conducted to learn about the problems the owner faced and the necessary needs. The survey was completed by cusomers, IT experts, the owner of the cafe's, and cashiers. Arithmetic mean was used to evaluate and interpret the collected data. The study showed that the system passed the black box testing, with a result of 0.95 which means completely functional. Therefore, the implementation of the web-based online ordering and sales monitoring system for street taqueria and cafe's was recommended to improve the system's payment gateway, and order-tracking features and become an android application.
