Summary, etc. Pregnancy experiences significantly influence mothers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards maternal and child healthcare. This research investigated the KAP on maternal and child healthcare among mothers in Sta. Justina, Buhi, Camarines Sur. A descriptive-correlational approach was used. The statistical tool utilized in calculating the relative number of respondents' profiles was percentage technique, weighted mean in assessing the knowledge, attitudes, and practices among mothers and factors that influence the maternal and child healthcare, and lastly, chi-square test of independence was used in assessing for the significant relationship between the profile and the KAP. A questionnaire was used to collect data on the respondents' profiles, including age, marital status, religion, educational attainment, occupation, family monthly income, and gravidity/parity. Moreover, this was used to gather data based on mothers' KAP along with psychological, economic, cultural, and spiritual factors that influence them. The study found that most respondents were aged 40 years and above, married, roman catholic, and high school graduates; the majority were unemployed/housewives with a family monthly income of less than Php 9,520 and had 2-5 children. Mothers were knowledgeable about immunization as it protects their child's health and prevents life-threatening diseases, they have positive attitudes that postpartum family planning counselling is necessary, and lastly, they follow proper nutrition guidelines during pregnaney very often. Psychological, economic, cultural, and spiritual factors influence mothers' ability to care for their child, financial constraints make it difficult for them to access the proper healthcare during pregnancy, belief that some herbs like malunggay help boost blood and milk production, and lastly, their religious doctrines discourage them from using contraceptives because pregnancy is a blessing and should not be avoided. The study underscored the need for enhanced awareness, policy enhancement, and intervention development to foster positive attitudes towards maternal and child healthcare, thereby enhancing health outcomes.
