This study focused on the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex assigned at birth, year level, religion, family monthly income, occupation of parents, number of siblings, and ordinal position in the family, the behavioral values portrayed by the respondents, the factors influencing their behavioral values, the relationship of the behavioral values portrayed by the respondents and the factors influencing their behavioral values, and the plan to enhance their behavioral values.

The findings revealed that most respondents belonged to the age group of 19-21 years old, females were dominant, at their first-year level, Roman Catholic, 10,000 and below was their family monthly income, the parents' field of employment were homemakers, had 3-4 siblings, and were the first-born children in their family. Respondents were always portraying behavioral values along self, fellow students, clinical instructors, and clients. Factors according to family and technology were moderately influential to the behavioral values of the respondents. Nevertheless, factors according to peers and religion, culture, and tradition were less influential on their behavioral values. There was no relationship between behavioral values along self and clients and the factors influencing their behavioral values. The researchers formulated recommendations for student nurses to develop coping strategies in managing family challenges, school responsibilities, and clinical ethical dilemmas by making a productive daily routine, including exposure to technology, and strictly follow the schedule, participate in collaborative activities whether extracurricular or academic involvements, and practicing respectful interactions among family members in expressing their thoughts, feelings, and concerns without being viewed negatively. |
