Summary, etc. The quantitative study determined the challenges experienced by Level II nursing students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in the transition from online to face-to-face learning. The descriptive-correlational design was utilized with the questionnaire as the main data-gathering instrument distributed to 208 Level II students. Percentage technique, Weighted mean, and Chi-square test of independence were used in the interpretation of the data.

The results revealed that the profile of Level II nursing students shows a predominantly female and single population. Most fall within the age range of 19-20 years old and have a family monthly income of Php 10,000 and below. Although generally, the Level II nursing students experienced moderate levels of both intrinsic and extrinsic challenges, there are intrinsic challenges they experienced as extreme. These included struggling due to the lack of classrooms and changing class schedules; lack of sleep due to the academic workload. In contrast, they experienced extrinsic challenges of a moderate level, such as institutional activities disrupting clinical duty and the home being far from school. Level II nursing students often apply spiritual strategies to cope with the challenge experienced in the transition from online to face-to-face learning by practicing gratitude and positive affirmations and doing things they find fulfilling. Conversely, they sometimes apply personal and social strategies to cope with the challenges by doing daily household chores and staying optimistic. The result further revealed that the profile of the respondents such as age, sex, and family monthly income does not have a statistically significant influence on the intrinsic and extrinsic challenges experienced by Level II student nurses in the transition from online to face-to-face learning. The proposed plan can address the challenges and enhance the coping strategies applied by Level II nursing students in the transition from online to face-to-face learning and can significantly improve the overall educational experience.
