Summary, etc. This project is all about creating a traffic light system that uses sensors to help reduce accidents and make it safer for students, especially at CSPC Gate 2. Since road accidents are a big problem worldwide, the researchers wanted to build a system that can detect vehicles and people to manage traffic better. The traffic lights use the usual red and green signals, but now they're connected to sensors that can detect motorcycles, cars, and even pedestrians. The researchers used a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to connect everything-sensors and traffic lights-so it can automatically decide when to let vehicles or people pass. The researchers used local materials to build the system, and we installed special sensors (called inductive loops) two inches under the ground to detect vehicles properly. These sensors are placed before the traffic lights to give enough time for the system to react and avoid delays. The researchers ran three tests to check how well it works. The first test, done indoors with planned setups, showed perfect results (100%). The second test was done at Gate 2 with real traffic, and two out of three tries worked. The third test, done at the gym for a priority exit lane, worked every time. Overall, the researchers got an 88.89% success rate. In the end, the researchers were able to design and build the sensor-based traffic light system properly, and after testing it several times, the researchers proved that it works well in real situations.
