520 3# - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The growing concern over lost or stolen belongings has spurred the development of more secure and efficient locker systems. This study introduces the LockBox: NFC-Based Vendo Locker Solution, a technological innovation designed to enhance personal storage systems on the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) campus. Combining Near Field Communication (NFC) technology with a vending machine interface, the LockBox provides a user-friendly, fast, and secure storage experience. The system operates through registered CSPC IDs for authentication and utilizes a coin-operated payment mechanism for item retrieval. Testing of the device focused on functionality, speed, and user evaluation, resulting in an overall success rate of 97.61%. Users found the system functional, affordable, and easy to use, with opportunities for improvements in performance efficiency. By integrating modern technologies and user-friendly interfaces, this capstone project aims to deliver a reliable, accessible, and innovative storage solution tailored for the CSPC community.
