Expansion of summary note This study aimed to identify and analyze the learning barriers faced by Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students at the CSPC, Buhi Campus. A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing a combination of documentation analysis and survey questionnaries. The survey instrument was distributed to a purposive sample of BSOA students. The majority of respondents were young adults aged 18-21, predominantly female and single, primarily third-year BSOA students. While many achieved a General Weighted Average between 1.5 and 2.0, several factors hindered their academic progress. Financial constraints emerged as a major challenge, with students expressing concerns about financial worries and the impact of family financial situations on their academic performance. In addition to financial constraints, the inflexibility of the academic schedule was a significant obstacle. Furthermore, the study revealed the crucial role of family support systems in student success. A lack of emotional support, understanding of academic demands, and unrealistic expectations from family members were identified as significant challenges. Finally, inadequate physical resources, such as limited access to libraries, computer labs, and study spaces, were identified as another barrier. To address these challenges, study recommends enhancing institutional support systems, improving physical infrastructure, addressing financial constraints, and enhancing time management and family support. By implementing these recommendations, the institution can create a more supportive learning environment and improve student outcomes.
