Geometry plays a significant role in the development of mathematical notion. The geometrical skills and visual images are basic elements and means of stimulation of many mathematicians. Geometry is included in every section of a student's curriculum from kindergarten to senior secondary grade and also continues to college and postgraduate study. The main concepts included in geometry are lines and segments, solidsand shapes, triagles and angles, as well as the circumference of a circle. In Euclidean geometry, angles are used to study polygons and triangles. Simply, the fundamental structure in geometry is a line, introduced by ancient mathematicians in order to represent straight elemnts with trivial width and depth. In Plane geometry, wee study about flat shapes such as lines, triangles, and circles, pretty mech any shape that we can draw on a paper. In the meantime, the study of solid geometry includes 3D objects such as cubes, prisms, cylinders, and spheres. More advanced concepts in geometry include platonic solids, coordinate grids, radians, conic sections, and trigometry. The study of the angles of a triangle or of angles in a unit circle forms the basis of trigonemetry. Geometry helps us in deciding what materials to use, what design to make and also plays a vital role in the construction process itself. Different houses and buildings are built in different geometric shapes to give a new look as well as to provide proper ventilation inside the house. Geometrical tools like the protractor, ruler, measuring tape, and much more are used in construction work, astronomy, for measurements, drawing etc. Geometric shapes, in astronomy, assist to know the location of solar system, planets, and different stars.
