Chronolock : a mobile application for internet-enabled access control of the CCS ERP laboratory smart door lock system / Mark Vincent M. Cleofe. - 210 leaves.
Undergraduate Theses (BSIT) - Information Technology.
Includes bibliographical references.
This study focuses on the challenges in the CCS ERP Laboratory, such as unsecured access control, inefficient attendance monitoring, and difficulty in managing schedules. To address these issues, the ChronoLock system was developed—a mobile application connected to a smart door lock device and a web-based management system, created using the Lean-Agile methodology. The study used a mixed-method approach with total enumeration sampling to gather data from all users involved. The system was evaluated through Black Box Testing, which included unit testing with students, faculty, laboratory personnel, and the admin, while IT experts performed integration, load, and stress testing. The arithmetic mean was used to interpret the results. Unit testing achieved an overall score of 0.98, showing that the system met almost all requirements with only minor issues. Load testing recorded a 0.00% error rate across all conditions, and stress testing achieved a perfect score of 1.00, confirming the system’s stability under heavy use. Overall, the findings show that ChronoLock mobile is highly functional and ready to improve security, attendance tracking, and overall management in the CCS ERP Laboratory.
