This study evaluated the Medical and Legal Internship Program for Bachelor of Science in Office Administration students at CSPC Buhi Campus. The program aimed to equip students with practical skills essential for office administration careers. Forty-two graduates participated in the study, sharing their experiences and insights. Findings revealed that interns performed well in work-related competencies such as task knowledge, work ability, personality traits, and special qualities, demonstrating the program's effectiveness in developing professional skills. However, participants identified challenges in communication, writing, information organization, critical thinking, and maintaining focus, highlighting areas for improvement. To address these issues, the study recommends several enhancements to the internship program. First, a comprehensive pre-internship orientation should be provided to prepare students for professional expectations, task, and behavior. Second, collaboration and peer learning should be encouraged to foster a supportive environment where interns can share strategies and experiences. Third, emotional and practical support, such as mentorship and guidance, should be offered to help interns overcome challenges. Lastly, a resource toolkit with templates for common office task should be developed to streamline work and boost productivity. In addition to these recommendations, intern participants emphasized the importance of maintaining focus, observation, effective communication, and a positive attitude during the internship to maximize learning and professional growth. Incorporating these suggestions can significantly enhance the internship experience and better prepare students for successful careers in office administration. Overall, these measures aim to strengthen the program and address the skill gaps identified in the study, ensuring a more effective learning experience for future interns.
